BEABADOOBEE

Born in the Philippines and raised in London, Bea Kristi began recording music as Beabadoobee in 2017. At just 20 years old, Beabadoobee has built her huge, dedicated Gen-Z fan base with her flawless output of confessional bedroom pop songs and DIY aesthetic. Her first track, ‘Coffee’ gathered hundreds of thousands of streams in a matter of days, through a fan-uploaded video. Since then, her songs have amassed millions of streams between her own self-released recordings and her three EPs on independent London label Dirty Hit, Patched Up, Loveworm and Space Cadet. She has been championed by BBC Radio 1, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Dazed, The Fader, i-D, Pigeons and Planes, Noisey, NME, Time Out, Paper, Nylon, Time Out, The New Yorker and The Guardian, amongst others. In 2019 Bea was nominated for both the BRITs Rising Star and BBC Sound Of 2020 awards. Her debut album Fake It Flowers will be released on October 16th this year.
Praise for Beabadoobee “Phenomenal” – Vogue “A bedroom-wall-of-sound classic… built to echo on infinite repeat” – New Yorker “galaxy-class starry-eyed swoon-pop” – The Guardian “Beabadoobee provides a score to the lives of her teenage fans… she gives ‘90s alt-rock a cinematic sheen” – The FADER “Intimate, close confessional vocals matched with stargazy guitars… a DIY sense of rawness, unaffected by industry bullshit or concerns over streaming algorithms” – i-D “She was born a songwriter… a voice for restless teens the world over” – Pigeons and Planes

Emma Ruth Rundle

The singer and guitarist for California post-rock/psych-metal outfit Marriages, a member of Isis-connected post-rockers Red Sparowes, and frontwoman for atmospheric psych-folk/slowcore collective Nocturnes, singer/songwriter, guitarist, and visual artist Emma Ruth Rundle is also an accomplished solo artist. Since debuting in 2014 with the acclaimed gothic folk/post-rock effort Some Heavy Ocean, Rundle has issued a string of evocative albums, including a 2020 collaboration with Louisiana sludge metallers Thou and 2021’s stripped-down and unflinching Engine of Hell.

Raised in Los Angeles and based out of Louisville, Kentucky, Rundle issued a collection of ambient, experimental guitar compositions through Bandcamp before releasing a proper solo album. The resulting Some Heavy Ocean was released in May 2014. It’s an evocative and cathartic set of Mazzy Star-meets-Swans space/post-folk-rock was written and was recorded at the home studio of Sargent House (the Echo Park-based indie label that issued the band’s debut, Kitsune). After the 2015 release of Marriages‘ Salome, Rundle issued her brooding sophomore studio LP, Marked for Death, again on Sargent House, in 2016. The Time Between Us, a split EP with Jayle Jayle, the dark roots project of Young Widows‘ Evan Patterson, arrived in 2017, followed by Rundle’s third full-length solo effort, the equestrian-themed On Dark Horses, in 2018. Two years later, Rundle collaborated with Thou for the doomy post-grunge-inspired full-length May Our Chambers Be Full. The album was a success with fans and critics alike, and in January of 2021, The Helm of Sorrow was released, a companion EP of four similarly crafted songs. Later that year, Rundle released the stark and intimate solo LP Engine of Hell, which included the evocative single “Return.” ~ James Christopher Monger

Echos

Echos, the Portland band, fall into a genreless mist of both cinematic post-rock style instrumentation and left-of-center pop writing; paving a new path, and style along the way. Clash Magazine notes Echos are “Oddly infectious […] in an electronic haze”. Often self-referential and coated in bitter-romance lyricism, Echos brings the angst of 2006’s emo days and reinvents it with 2018’s anti-pop pop-music. Have been working with with online promotional mecca ‘MrSuicideSheep’ and his label ‘Seeking Blue’ for the last 3+ years – Echos has seen the fortune of millions of streams, impressions, and eyes on their music. Finding importance in the physical, Echos has not only seen gains digitally, but they have found themselves supporting large-room sold out tours with electronic acts like Illenium, on the festival stages of Electric Forest, Snowglobe, and more as well as a bus tour with Alternative metal good-boys ‘I See Stars’.Echos, the Portland duo, fall into a genreless mist of both cinematic post-rock style instrumentation and left-of-center pop writing; paving a new path, and style along the way.
